Muscat – Oil prices rose on Monday due to fears of a shortage in supply in the last quarter of the year after Saudi Arabia and Russia extended production cuts, in addition to optimism about the recovery of demand in China, the largest global importer of crude.

Brent crude futures rose five cents to $93.98 per barrel. West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 15 cents to $90.92 a barrel. The two crude oil prices rose for the third week in a row, reaching their highest levels since November.
