Muscat – The Ministry stated that the number of voters for the election reached 753,952, including 362,924 female voters, while the number of new registered voters reached 139,963.
The North Al Batinah Governorate registered highest number of registered voters with a total of 153,809.
The Ministry also clarified that any interested party may object to the names included in the preliminary list of voters with a request submitted through the elections website, within five days from the date of announcing the list, indicating the reasons for the objection along with supporting documents.
