Muscat: The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry by H.E. Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim Al Mahrouqia, and by Cinzia Farese, CEO of Oman Cables Industry.
The program includes developing practical skills of 20 Omani female trainees to qualify them to work in the manufacturing, science, technology, engineering and mathematics sectors in the Sultanate of Oman.
Under the agreement, the OCI will conduct interviews for female candidates and implement the program in cooperation with the Technical Administrative Training Institute. The Company will seek to provide job opportunities for the trainees after completion of the training program and as per the requirements of the labour market without making any employment commitments, in addition to financing the training program according to the agreed upon conditions.
In return, the Ministry will review and approve the training courses and content, and approve the training plan presented by the company through 20 training opportunities for female job seekers.
The ‘She Stems’ program is part of the efforts made by OCI to develop local talents and achieve a sustainable future for the Sultanate of Oman.
