MUSCAT: His Higness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan addressed the G20 Summit in New Delhi on Tuesday.
HH Sayyid Asaad shared the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and also shared His Majesty’s sincere appreciation for the work accomplished in various tracks throughout the period of India’s presidency.
“We welcome the Indian presidency’s title for this year’s edition of the G20, “One Earth, One Family, One Future,” and we stress the importance of joint action, not only for the sake of preserving and protecting the Earth, but for the progress and prosperity of all humanity,” Sayyid Asaad said.

“The Sultanate of Oman believes in the spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility, and is committed to them in pursuit of public benefit. Therefore, it is aware of its role, responsibility, and commitment to the visions of the international community and its many initiatives in order to achieve the 2030 sustainable development goals, and the Paris Climate Agreement, to name but a few,” Sayyid Asaad noted.
“We look forward to continuing and strengthening cooperation and partnership with all G20 countries and in all desired fields that benefit everyone,” he added.
