MUSCAT : The total number of fuel filling stations in various governotates of Oman until the end of 2022 reached 676, the National Center for Statistics and Information said on Saturday.
Statistics showed that Muscat Governorate has largest number of filling stations at 169, followed by 73 fuel filling stations in the Dhofar Governorate. Musandam Governorate has 11 and Buraimi Governorate has 21 stations.
As for the filling stations in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, there are 83 stations, and in the South and North Al Batinah Governorates, there are 167 stations, while the number in the South and North Al Sharqiyah Governorates reached 81 stations, and in Al Dhahirah Governorate, 38 stations, while the number of stations in the Al Wusta Governorate reached 33 stations.
