MUSCAT : Salalah Airport launched the first test freighter flight to Salalah Port aimed at consolidating the integrated logistics system between ports and airports.
The shipment departed by sea from Colombo on September 3, and the first group of containers arrived at Salalah Port on September 7.
The containers were transported by land from Salalah Port to Salalah Airport, and then the shipment departed from Salalah Airport towards Cairo by air.
