MUSCAT – The Oman Tax Authority has shared instructions regarding the payment of taxes. Individuals can pay their due taxes via the tax portal, or deposit bank checks in the account of the Tax Authority and provide a copy of the deposit receipt.
Bank transfer from the account of the taxpayer to the account of the Tax Authority and the payment shall not be considered effective until the amount is deposited in the account of the Tax Authority. The circular from the Tax Authority further mentions that each taxpayer shall refer to the number of the Tax Card that is issued to them in all their correspondences, invoices, or other data.
