MUSCAT : A specialized medical team from the Royal and Al Nahda Hospitals succeeded in performing a complex operation on a child suffering from a tumor and enlargement that led to congenital hypothyroidism.
The team included a number of consultants, specialists, and nursing staff from the specializations of obstetrics and gynaecology and intensive care for premature babies from the Royal Hospital, and ear, nose and throat specialists from the Al Nahda Hospital.
