MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested a person on charges of running over an expatriate and fleeing the scene of the accident.
In a statement issued, ROP said the incident happened in Muscat. “The Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested a citizen on charges of running over an Asian expatriate and escaping from the scene of the accident, causing his death. Legal procedures are being completed against him,” the statement added.
