Muscat: Oman on Thursday congratulated India for the historic touchdown of Chandrayaan-3 on the southern polar region of the moon, calling it a ‘milestone’.
“Congratulations to India on the successful soft landing on the moon. A milestone in India’s space journey. We look forward to new discoveries and scientific advancements,” His Excellency Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister wrote on X on Thursday as India became the fourth country to achieve the feat after the US, China, and the erstwhile Soviet Union.
