MUSCAT : In a recent notice, the Blood Banks Services Department has pointed out the huge ongoing demand for platelets in Oman, as there are many patients still on the waiting list. The Department urges blood donors to donate platelets as soon as possible.
Blood donors can donate platelets at the Central Blood Bank (Bausher) from Saturdays to Thursdays (8am to 6pm) and on Fridays from 8am to 1pm.
