MUSCAT : According to the Muscat Municipality, 3,323 new rent agreements have been registered in the Wilayat of Muttrah, in addition to 21,239 contract renewals, during the first half of 2023. Compared to the same period in 2022, approximately 747 new contracts were registered and 11,999 contracts were renewed, thus recording an obvious increase.
This increase in the registration of contracts indicates that the awareness spread by Muscat Municipality to encourage the public to register rent agreements has been effective.
