MUSCAT : The Consumer Protection Authority helped reach an amicable solution between a customer and a vehicle showroom in Al Musanna. The customer complained that the engine of his bus kept malfunctioning even after it was repaired by the showroom, prompting the CPA to intervene. With the help of the Authority, the customer and the showroom reached a settlement wherein the showroom returned the purchase price to the customer, amounting to OMR 17,300, and returned the defective bus to the showroom.
