Muscat – The two workers were in possession of prohibited tobacco, which they were selling in a residential area in the Wilayat of Ibri.
The CPA noted that this violated the Consumer Protection Law and the amended by Resolution No. 206/2023 banning the circulation of chewed (non-smoked) tobacco in any form and under any name.
Accordingly, necessary legal measures were taken against violators.
