Muscat – According to the Ministry, it would restrict negative effects on the national economy, enable labour market regulation and support small and medium enterprises.
In an online announcement, it listed the following as the key objectives of the decision:
• Creation of appropriate conditions for investments in the Sultanate of Oman
• Registration of local and foreign institutions and companies
• Issuing of approvals and permits for investment projects
• Regulation of Labour market
• Thwarting negative effects on the national economy
• Adherence to the applicable specifications and standards
• Support for small and medium enterprises
