MUSCAT – Foreign investments in the Sultanate witnessed a rise of 23.3% by the end of the first quarter of 2023, to reach OMR 21.27 billion, with financial flows estimated at OMR 4.20 billion. The UK leads in the list of foreign investors, with a total investment of OMR 10,352,100,000.
The oil and gas extraction activities sector accounted for the largest volume of foreign direct investment in this quarter, with an investment value of OMR 15,835,700,000.
