MUSCAT : The CIP Report, issued by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), shows that Oman has made great strides over the past seven years, rising from the 72nd rank in 2016 to the 56th rank in 2023.

Commending the new rank, H.E. Dr. Saleh bin Said Masan, Undersecretary for Commerce and Industry at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, said, “This progress is a result of the increase in the added value of manufacturing industries and the increase in the volume of industrial exports. The Ministry is currently working on developing initiatives that contribute to raising the efficiency of the sector and supporting the trend towards using the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in production.”
