MUSCAT : The Ministry stated that it is following the developments that have taken place since the issuance of a decision by India to stop the export of rice commodity.
“In this context, the Ministry confirms, in coordination with government agencies, that the strategic stock of rice in the Sultanate of Oman is safe and there is no cause for concern about its shortage or increase. These events are periodically followed up, the situation evaluated and appropriate measures are taken,” said the statement.
