Muscat: The royal decree promulgates the law for electing members of the Shura Council, and stipulates that the Minister of Interior issues the executive regulations of the law and the decisions necessary to implement its provisions; until they are issued, the applicable regulations and decisions continue to be in force, in a manner that does not contradict its provisions.
Article 3 of the decree cancels Royal Decree No. 58/2013 on the Shura Council’s Members Election Law, as well as all that contradicts the new law or contravenes its provisions.
