MUSCAT : The Authority, in an online statement, pointed out that large quantities of firewood are being displayed in public places, shops and markets without obtaining permits.
It has, accordingly, directed the confiscation of all the quantities offered for sale, as the concerned shops and markets were logging them without a permit. The Authority added that it has suspended granting of logging permits.
