MUSCAT : H.E. Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Harassi, Minister of Information, stated that the Council of Ministers has taken a decision to appoint a spokesperson for the units of the administrative apparatus of the state as well as other public legal persons.
The decision aims to present the vision of the government entity in matters related to the services it provides to members of society across various media as well as to respond to press inquiries about these services, and to deal with issues raised in the media arena.
The Minister added in a press statement that the speaker will work according to specific terms of reference to ensure the strengthening of the relationship between the institution and the media, and to enhance the mental image by appearing on all media and various platforms.
