MUSCAT : The Civil Aviation Authority has issued a circular addressed to all passengers and aircraft operators in the Sultanate announcing that, based on the latest updates of the epidemiological situation in United Republic of Tanzania and Republic of Equatorial Guinea and the competent authorities’ confirmation of the end of the epidemic and control of the Marburg virus disease (MVD) outbreak, the MVD alerts in the civil aviation sector are hereby being lifted.
The CAA has taken this decision and in coordination with the Ministry of Health and other competent authorities.
