MUSCAT : Leading Indian news channel Asianet News is hosting ‘Educational Excellence Awards’ in Oman on Friday, June 16.
The prestigious educational award ceremony will be held at Sheraton Oman Hotel.
Academic administrator MP Vinobha will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award, while William Donald Seemanthy will receive the Best Teacher Award in the senior category.

Dr. Sherimon PC from Arab Open University will receive the Best Teacher of the Year (College level); Anjali Radhakrishnan will receive the Best Teacher of the Year (Kindergarten category); Avni Mihr Gandhi will receive Best Teacher of the Year (Special Jury — Kindergarten category); and Sudheer CP will receive Best Teacher of the Year (Senior level).
The awards were declared by a special jury headed by former Indian diplomat TP Sreenivasan.
