MUSCAT : The agreement aims to legally protect investors from imposing double taxes and regulate the imposition of tax between the two countries, so as to enhance investments and trade exchange between them.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Government of Oman by H.E. Saud bin Nasser Al Shukaili, Head of the Tax Authority, and on behalf of the Government of Russia by H.E. Alexei Sazanov, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.
Sultanate of Oman has signed more than 38 tax agreements with friendly countries to expand the scope of investments and trade exchange.
