MUSCAT – “The latest weather maps and analysis of the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Center indicate the formation of tropical depression south east of Arabian Sea,” stated the weather report from the Civil Aviation Authority. “It lay centered on latitude 10.9N and longitude 66.2E, wind speed around its center estimated between 17 and 27 knots. It is likely to intensify to depression during the next 24 hours with no direct impact on Sultanate of Oman weather within the next 5 days,” it added, advising everyone to follow the issued weather bulletins and reports.
