MUSCAT – In a notice issued online, the Ministry stated that some of the companies that obtain a license for marketing and promotional activities on websites and social media do not meet the conditions for automatic license. “The licensee must also comply with Article No. 9 of the regulations for the practice of marketing and promotion activity on websites and social media, including a statement of the license number,” the notice said, stressing that marketing or promotion should not be exaggerated. The Ministry notes the necessity of adhering to the provisions of the regulations in order to avoid taking any legal measures.
