MUSCAT – The new service aims to raise the levels of diagnosis of heart diseases, especially complex ones that may require a multi-stage plan, said Dr. Alaa Hassan Al Lawati, Head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the National Center for Cardiac Medicine and Surgery at the Royal Hospital.
He stressed that the introduction of such applications enhances the quality of medical system, as it keeps pace with the latest scientific research findings in the field of diagnosing and in treating heart diseases, which represent a significant percentage of the total number of patients in any society.
