MUSCAT – Abdullah Al Rawahi and his Jordanian partner Ata Al Hmoud took a lead of 2 minutes 33.5 seconds into the final six special stages in their Škoda Fabia Evo. Rawahi secured his third career MERC win, which drew him in level with the late Björn Waldegård, Jean-Pierre Nasrallah and Abdullah Bakhashab in the regional Hall of Fame. Hmoud became the first Jordanian to win his home rally.
