MUSCAT – In reply to the question – As an employer, what are my obligations regarding the Wages Protection System (WPS) – the Ministry stated the following:
1. It is mandatory for employers to update the wages information of both Omani and non-Omani employees using authorized channels.
2. It is mandatory for employers to transfer wages using the Unified Salary Information File format within the Wages Protection System.
