MUSCAT – The Ministry, represented by the Directorate General of Labour Welfare, carried out inspection campaigns in the Governorate of Muscat during the period of May 7 to 13 and arrested 173 workers who had violated the provisions of the Labour Law. The arrested expatriate workers included 102 who had quit employment and were working elsewhere.
Legal action is being taken against them.
