The Star Wars franchise has a huge roster of animated shows, and, while some are great, some are really polarising among the fans. Here’s a look at some of the best Star Wars animated series as of now.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Generally revered as one of the best animated shows to ever exist, The Clone Wars takes place after the second film in the franchise (chronologically). As multiple star systems get involved in the Clone Wars, the Jedi Knights struggle to keep the peace and defeat the droid army of the Separatists. The show featured some of the big names of the franchise, like Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and the fan-favourite Jedi Ahsoka Tano, among many other prominent characters from the film series. 

Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Set during the aftermath of the clone wars, the members of a unique squad of clones find their way in a changing galaxy. Clone Force 99, also known as the Bad Batch — a group of elite clone troopers with genetic mutations that were first introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars — takes on daring mercenary missions in the aftermath of the Clone Wars.

Star Wars: Visions

The latest addition to the roster of Star Wars animated shows, Visions has taken a pace in the hearts of fans worldwide due to its unique approach and absolutely beautiful animation styles. Visions is an animated anthology series directed by some of the greatest anime directors around. Each episode is directed by a different director and employs a unique art style that takes the plot to a whole new level. An experimental piece of work from the house of Lucasfilm, Visions currently has two seasons comprising rather short episodes, making it a perfect watch for today!
