MUSCAT: Indian Social Club (ISC) Oman in association with its linguistic wings is all set to celebrate Eid Al Fitr on the first day of Eid at its premises in Darsait at 7 pm.
ISC has been organising “Eid Milan” every year for the community. Eid Al Fitr marks the completion of the Holy Month of Ramadan wherein one detaches oneself from worldly pleasures and shackles of desire and exercises self-restrain. It is a month where one involves oneself in prayer, sacrifice and charity.
“Muslims and non-Muslims come together under one roof during “Eid Milan” and share their happiness and sense of brotherhood.
The club and its various linguistic wings join together in organising this meet and greet evening where people not only from the Indian community but also other nationalities join in their celebration.
All are cordially invited with family members to this function on the first day of Eid,” a press note from ISC stated.
