MUSCAT: In the online announcement, the Ministry stated, ‘Within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Finance and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, the beneficiary code system services have been activated through Sanad Services Centers.’
This facility would enable beneficiaries’ to access the system’s services online and track their transactions through the Sanad centers. It will also expand the electronic services provided to entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises, and enhance the prospects for cooperation and integration with the Ministry of Finance.
The beneficiary code system is an online service that enables all government contractors such as individuals, entrepreneurs and contractors to obtain a reference number through which the amounts due for their services or work are transferred to their bank accounts.
As part of this announcement, the following services have been activated for all:
• Beneficiary number registration service
• Beneficiary number renewal service
• Account number modification service
• Payment completion service
• Commitment letter service
• Enterprise data registration service
