MUSCAT– The TRA has announced the opening of ‘Unified System Project for Number Portability Service’ tender, in order to develop a flexible and up-to-date regulatory environment and to protect the interests of beneficiaries. The announcement stated: ‘With the aim of developing a unified system that contributes to facilitating the process of porting phone numbers between telecom service operators, the TRA is pleased to invite qualified companies specialized in the work of the systems designated for that to participate in the tender.’ Last date to purchase tender document is 28th March.
