Massive fire breaks out in Ajman, UAE

Civil defence teams were dispatched to the site as soon as the incident was reported.

DUBAI : A massive fire broke out in the Ajman industrial area in UAE earlier today, and has caused substantial damage to a residential building, a printing press, warehouses, and several parked cars, as per reports. Civil defence teams were dispatched to the site along with support units from Sharjah, Dubai, and Umm Al Quwain as soon as the incident was reported, and the fire has since been brought under control.

The Ajman police force supported the entire operation as well, with the presence and direct supervision of Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, Brigadier General Abdullah Saif Al Matrooshi, Director General of Police Operations at Ajman Police, and Colonel Raed Obaid Al Zaabi, Director General of Ajman Civil Defense.

Fortunately, the incident has not claimed any casualties or injuries, although the financial losses have been extensive. While the cause of the fire is still unknown, investigations are underway.
