MUSCAT: In the interest of empowering women to carry out their work and duties for the advancement of the country and to achieve integration in the security of work system, the Royal Oman Police, in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, inducted a new batch of female citizens, who had to pass the stages of assessment and admission to the Royal Oman Police.
According to a statement issued by the Royal Oman Police, it is working to provide a model environment for the training of new recruits by specialized cadres of trainers at the Women’s Police Institute at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences, so as to qualify them to perform their national duty efficiently and competently alongside their colleagues at work, both male and female police officers.
