MUSCAT : In a circular issued by the Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir, Principal D. N. Rao shared the decision of the School Management Committee to increase the tuition fee by OMR 2 per month.
The circular reads as follows: ‘To further support the robust forward planning with an idea to serve better, we wish to inform you, on behalf of the School Management Committee, that there is an increase of the tuition fees by OMR 2 per month with effect from the Academic Year 2023-2024.
This does not include external examinations such as CBSE Board Exams and Olympiads, national/international tours and overnight trips like school excursions and participation in national-level sports and games.’

He explained that as a part of continuous improvement, the School had switched to a new school ERP (MCB-My Class Board) automating fee payment, book sales, and also added various other features and infrastructural developments like the swimming pool facility, an improved stadium with seating arrangement at the primary ground, and several others that would be open to the entire ISWK community soon.

However, speaking to The Arabian Stories, a senior BOD official said that the decision does not apply to other Indian schools in the country.
