MUSCAT : Visiting International Hockey Federation (FIH) President Tayyab Ikram has expressed his satisfaction with Oman’s preparations for the Hockey5s World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men and women which is scheduled to be held in Muscat in January 2024. The FIH President visited the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex after his arrival on Saturday and held discussions with the Oman Hockey Association (OHA) chairman Marwan Al Juma and is scheduled to meet the top officials at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth (MCSY) and the Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) before heading to India where the FIH World Cup is due to begin on January 13.
