MUSCAT : Today, the Port of Salalah received the cruise ship “Amira”, carrying 1082 passengers, including 696 tourists. This visit is part of its tourism program for the passengers of the cruise ship coming from the port of Hurghada in Egypt and heading to Port Sultan Qaboos in Muscat Governorate. The tour program includes the most important archaeological, tourist, and historical monuments that the Governorate of Dhofar is famous for, in addition to visiting the beaches and traditional markets in the city of Salalah.
It should be noted that the Sultanate of Oman annually witnesses the visit of many cruise ships due to its distinguished marine location overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea, and the Sea of Oman.
