MUSCAT- The survey and excavation work carried out by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, in cooperation with an archaeological mission from the Italian University of Pisa, has recently been completed. Excavations took place at the Anzoor site in the Wilayat of Shalim and the archaeological site of Khor Ruri in the Wilayat of Taqa in the Dhofar Governorate, which date back to the Iron Age or the end of the first millennium BC.
