DOHA- Qatar university recently announced that the hotel room where Argentina’s star footballer Lionel Messi stayed during the Qatar World Cup 2022 will not entertain guests anymore and will instead be converted into a museum, with the star’s possessions all kept unchanged for fans and visitors to see.
The director of communications and public relations at Qatar University, Hitmi al Hitmi, stated in a statement to the Qatari newspaper Al Sharq, “The room of Argentina national team player Lionel Messi will remain unchanged and will remain available only for visitors and not for residents. Messi’s belongings will be a legacy for students and future generations and a witness to the great achievements Messi has reached during the World Cup.”
