MUSCAT: Heavy rain on Tuesday morning triggered waterlogging of roads in many parts of Muscat Governorate, leading to traffic jams.
In a statement issued, Royal Oman Police said it closed the Baushar Al Amerat road and advised motorists to use alternative roads. ROP also closed traffic under the Al Khuwair bridge and Qurum Bridge due to flash floods.
Motorists have been warned to take extra care on roads due to unstable weather.
