MUSCAT: Oman Arab Bank has appointed veteran banker Sulaiman bin Hamad Al Harthi as new Chief Executive Officer effective from January 2023.
Al Harthi who has over 33 years of experience in the banking sector, has held several leadership positions at major local banks, including as CEO of Alizz Islamic Bank.
Al Harthi is a graduate of the Oman Institute of Bankers, a graduate from the Executive Management Programme at Harvard Business School as well as the Executive Management Programme at INSEAD. Also, he holds an MBA in finance from Leicester University, UK.
