MUSCAT : ISWK Lions U13 beat Bosher Sports Centre D U13 one-sided by 256 runs and Bosher Sports Centre E U13 beat Indian School Muscat U13 wholly by 10 wickets in the Oman Cricket U13 Junior League Season 2022-23 powered by Mazoon Dairy.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first, ISWK Lions U13’s got off to a flying start. Openers Ayush Shetty and Aryan Joshi bolsted 86 runs in the powerplay to give the Lions a lead in the contest. Both Openers went on to dominate the BSC D bowling attack with Aryan Joshi hitting 18 boundaries and Ayush Shetty hitting 11 boundaries. They created a record partnership for the 1^st wicket in an U13 match scoring 255 runs in just 15 overs , both of them retiring out together. ISWK Lions ended the innings scoring 346 runs. In return, BSC D U13’s started well with a quick 32 run partnership but falling off as dominoes to Jaideep Sai and Akeel Mohammed who bagged 3 wickets and 2 wickets respectively. BSC D were all out for just 90 runs in 18.5 overs. In the other match, ISM U13 won the toss and elected to bat first. ISM lost their first wicket in the form of a run out halfway through the powerplay although a 68 run partnership between Suvarn AK and Swagath NK brought them back into the game. Swagath went on to score a half century remaining not out scoring 61 of 47 balls hitting 6 fours. ISM U13 set a target of 147 for the BSC E U13 boys to fall for. BSC E U13 openers Vignesh Karthikeyan and Aditya Chaudhari determined to chase down the target scored 36 preserving their wickets in the powerplay. BSC’s Skipper Vignesh taking the responsibility, drained down the ISM U13 bowlers scoring 94 off 56 balls with 15 fours well supported by Aditya scoring 46 off 37 balls ensuring BSC E U13 get over the line with a dominating 10 wicket win.
