MUSCAT- A new private document management system has been adopted by the port of Sohar and Freezone on Wednesday. The accreditation was signed by His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Dawiani, Chairman of the National Documentation and Archives Authority, and Engineer Omar bin Mahmoud Al-Mahrizi, CEO of the Freezone and Vice President of the Executive port of Sohar.
The adoption of a modern document management system for Sohar Port and its subsidiaries is part of the National Documentation and Archives Act. It will ensure proper codification, transfer, and deportation of documents, and has been approved by the National Documents and Archives Authority.
