MUSCAT : A prominent champion of mental wellbeing in the local and regional circles, Her Highness Sayyida Basma Al Said will be a part of the panel on ‘Women in Leadership’ to expound her personal and professional views on leadership in community development. She will elucidate the importance of women leaders in partnering with the government’s inclusive growth and sustainable development goals.
With over 21 years of experience as a hypnotherapist and PTSD trainer, she has a wealth of information on mental health, having championed various local, regional and international campaigns to uphold the importance of mental well being and societal awareness regarding the stigma that still persists around the world. She has played a dominant role, as a society leader and a mental health expert, in helping victims of sexual abuse as well as aiding victims of abuse in refugee camps.
She will provide a psychological perspective on the significance of women leaders in creating awareness within the community and the nation, at the panel discussion of TAS Conclave.
