MUSCAT : Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran Group), in partnership with Spartan Arabia, is hosting the race, which will coincide with the activities accompanying the World Cup.

The two day event will comprise of different races, including: Spartan Sprint (5 km and 20 obstacles), Spartan Super (10 km and 25 obstacles), and Spartan Beast (21 km and 30 obstacles), in addition to another race called ‘Hurricane Return’ (which lasts 4 hours and is an endurance race for teams) and a group of races for children.

Hashil bin Obaid Al Mahrouqi, CEO of Omran Group, said: “Muscat Governorate is hosting the race after the great success of the Spartan Race in Salalah last October, which is a very important indication of the potential that the Sultanate of Oman has as a global destination for adventure tourism and sports tourism.”
