MUSCAT: In a statement issued on its official Twitter account, Muscat Municipality has apprised the public of the direct and indirect problems that could arise from the practice of feeding birds in public areas.
It said that it could pose challenges to the environment as well as public hygiene in areas where such practices are carried out randomly.
