MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, affirmed that youth are among the most important pillars of Oman’s Vision 2040, which aims to achieve sustainability and prosperity for its children today and those of tomorrow.
His Highness congratulated the Omani youth on the occasion of the Omani Youth Day, saying: “We are pleased to congratulate the youth of the Sultanate of Oman on their day, which we celebrate on the twenty-sixth of October each year, praising their remarkable role in the elevation of their country, and emphasizing the well-deserved attention and care given to them, to motivate them to complete the journey of giving.”
His Highness added: “The wise approach of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik pays attention to Omani youth, and this is not evidenced by his lofty and wise directives to give the needs of young people the necessary care and study their ambitious requirements that see the Sultanate of Oman among the developed countries. Youth are among the most important pillars of Oman’s Vision 2040, which aims to achieve sustainability and prosperity for its generation today and those of tomorrow.

In line with this lofty approach and in implementation of what Oman Vision 2040 seeks to achieve, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth continues its efforts to support and empower young Omani talents and Omani innovators, taking advantage of the useful tools of the modern era, and being proud of the Omani civilizational and cultural heritage. Therefore, the Youth Center was established to be a space for innovation, creative thinking, and youth action.
“We are moving forward to support creativity, empower talented people, and construct minds, valuing the many roles they play that benefit the youth and the country alike.”
His Highness pointed out that “the contribution of young people to achieving the goals of Oman Vision 2040, and setting its axes and priorities in mind, is the cornerstone for reaching the goal and aspiration of the Sultanate of Oman, present and tomorrow, which is authenticity and civilization. And minds that plan, and this will only be possible for us by permanent adherence to national constants, and working hard, sincerity and determination.”
