MUSCAT : The nearly month-long Festival will coincide with the World Cup, presenting an array of exciting activities, competitions, foods stalls and more. Every World Cup match will also be broadcast live at the Festival Venue – the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Visitors will also get to partake in a host of activities, artistic performances, interactive games and exciting competitions, with prizes and incentives on offer.
H.E. Azzan bin Qassim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and Chairman of the Steering Committee overseeing the Oman World Cup Program, said, “The World Cup is the most important sporting event ever hosted in the region, and that is why Oman launched a special program to celebrate this exceptional occasion. Muscat is one of the approved cities to host World Cup fans, as it aims to provide an integrated experience for fans here.”
